Strubenacher Living residential development with 19 terraced houses in Zumikon, Canton of Zurich

On Strubenacher in Zumikon, ZH, Allreal is developing a residential complex on a plot of approximately 4,500 square meters, comprising a total of 19 single-family townhouses built to the Minergie-Eco standard. Construction is underway, with occupancy scheduled for fall/winter 2027. The residential development comprises two rows of houses arranged one behind the other, with the central space between them serving as an access area and gathering place. The single-family townhouses are designed as owner-occupied homes and will be sold. To develop the project, Allreal conducted a design competition involving four architectural firms, from which the proposal by the consortium of Mathis Kamplade Architekten and Theres Hollenstein Architektur from Zurich emerged as the winner.
